Everyone has values. Our values are meaningful to us. Values determine our actions. In this country I feel we have lost sight of values that are important to family and community. I read an article recently and it said, that the number one benefit of knowing your values, would be that you would have clarity and focus. But having this understanding may not be enough. You also need to use this revelation to make consistent decisions and take committed action. Knowing your values helps you improve the results you want to get.
I am a father and a grandfather. I love each one of my children and grandchildren and I want them to have the best of all this country has to offer. This web site is to give those that think like I do an opportunity to “put their money where their mouth is.” An opportunity for you as a purchaser, to see where your local grocery store or hardware store stands. To make decisions that match your values. One purchase at a time.
I have long believed that if you do not “like” something stop putting your money there. Put your money in something you can believe in. It is my choice and yours to support those businesses you can believe in. Businesses will be able to make a show of their values that are important to them and the work they do. This will allow potential customers to support them for their values. If you know businesses that carry “your” values encourage them to let others know. Potential clients and purchasers can begin their search for “like” values here.
